New PPP Loans

BankRI will be participating in the latest round of PPP Loans.  Current customers can contact their BankRI representative or click the link provided for more information regarding the rules, guidelines and process to apply for a new or second PPP loan.

PPP Loan Forgiveness Process

We are committed to helping you with the forgiveness portion of the Paycheck Protection Program (“PPP”) and have provided the information and resources below to assist you.  For borrowers with loans of less than $150,000, we will send you an email link within the next 2 weeks to begin the forgiveness process.  We will submit your completed request for forgiveness to the SBA when it begins accepting applications on March 5, 2021.  This page will be updated on a regular basis as more information about the forgiveness process becomes available.

We have commenced with the PPP loan forgiveness process and, on a rolling basis, we are sending emails to PPP loan borrowers with information on how to apply for forgiveness. In the event that you have not yet received an email with information regarding the forgiveness process and you want to begin the forgiveness process, please contact your BankRI representative or relationship manager. If you are unsure who to contact about your PPP loan, please send us an email at or call our Customer Service Center at 866-422-6574 and they will direct you to the correct representative.  When you do receive our email, it will contain the information you need to log in to our online forgiveness application portal. The portal is hosted by Abrigo, a company we have engaged to help streamline the forgiveness application process.
