Bank Rhode Island Names John Sullivan Director of Project Management

Providence, R.I. – January 20, 2010 – Bank Rhode Island (BankRI) announced the appointment of John Sullivan as the Director of Project Management.  In this role, Sullivan will run the project office and implement and supervise bank wide projects and initiatives.

Sullivan has over 13 years of experience with project management, systems analysis and IT risk management.  Most recently, Sullivan was Senior Vice President and Head of Off-Shore Technology Risk for Citizens Bank.  At Citizens, he was also responsible for running and developing a project management office and an IT risk program.

“John’s extensive background in project management will be a huge asset towards the implementation and success of the bank’s technology and business projects,” stated BankRI Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer Bob Wischnowsky.

A resident of Barrington, Sullivan received a BA and MS from Boston College.
